Oil and Fuel Pumps & Filters
Whether it's mechanical or electrical, all vehicles need a means to move fuel (petrol or diesel) from the tank to the engine. The fuel pump completes this task and can be situated in the tank, between the tank and the engine or fitted to the engine itself.
Similarly, oil also needs to circulate around the engine to keep it lubricated and running smoothly. This is normally by means of a mechanical pump.
Finally, filters are used to make sure that no detritus can pass into the oil or fuel systems, extending the life of the mechanical parts of the vehicle's engine.
